Hello everyone!
I am writing to you from the Centennial Motel in West VA! We are playing for a conference called GoTell. The week has been going great. We have connected with Rick Stanley along with the camp pastor Jordan Easley. Last night there was about 27 kids who gave their lives to Christ for the first time! Party in heaven! Tonight we heard from Ergun Caner. He brought the HEAT!
In other news, these next few weeks are going to be super busy for us. Tons of traveling which means, tons of time away from home. Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we travel. Thank you so much for your love and support!

July 7th, 2010 - 1 Comment »What a weekend! Between 70,000 people at Creation East, worshipping to some brand new songs, and driving through the night to celebrate the 4th of July with friends and family…I don’t know where to start!
We had our very first experience at Creation East in Pa on Saturday and it was great! It is new for us to lead worship at an outdoor festival and it was great! It is incredible seeing people from all ages meet in a field and celebrate God. If you were there, you got a treat: New Songs! It was amazing to see how quickly people learned and started worshipping. We had a blast and hope to see some more of you at Creation West. GET READY!
God is doing so much in us right now, it is hard to find words to explain it! What I can explain is that we are loving this season of life. Pray for us as we continue to write and dream for what the future holds.

Pool Time
June 16th, 2010 - 2 Comments »The Summer has officially kicked off and camp season is in full force. During the Fall and Spring, we find ourselves in and out of more conferences which keeps us much much busier during the day. Summer brings more camps, festivals, and pool time! In other words an opportunity to do a lot more hanging and spend time on songwriting and dreaming for the next year.
Yesterday while Pat, Dash, and I were hanging by the pool we just began to discuss how excited we all were for the next season of Unhindered. God has really brought us each individually into some cool successes that are contributing to Unhindered in a new way. Even after 7 years of being on the road with these guys the Lord continues to find ways to make it fresh for us. Bottom line, we’re loving life and every day we look forward to the next. See you guys on the beach!

What a weekend!
June 3rd, 2010 - 2 Comments »It is always fun to travel somewhere for the first time! Though we have been to Canada, we had never been to Edmonton. It was great!
(On a hilarious side note… Apparently, it gets dark around 11:00 p.m. over there at this time of year. You would not believe how confused I was looking out my hotel window at 10:30 p.m. wondering what was going on and why the sun was still up! Confused is an understatement!!)
We also had the opportunity to meet Jason Upton (www.jasonupton.net). This was one of the experiences that we will think about for a long time! This guy loves God, his family, and his friends more than anyone you have ever seen. He also feels complete freedom to be himself. He doesn’t try to be someone else. He knows who God made him to be and he lives it! It was amazing to have the chance to sit and hang with him for a bit over the weekend. It is always great to meet someone with a different perspective and learn from them. Inspiring.
I hope that this summer, we are able to continue to meet some great new friends! We will be heading out to the Missouri in a few days and can’t wait to worship with you guys. It’s gonna be great!

Back!!
May 27th, 2010 - 3 Comments »Hi everybody! Sorry I missed all of you last weekend in Philly! The guys all said they had a blast and I wish I could have been there too. My wife and I were in Tokyo helping our friends with the Passion World Tour! It’s really cool seeing what God is doing all over the world!
It’s great to be back with the boys and we’re headed to Canada tomorrow! It’s gonna be a great weekend worshiping with all of you! It’s been about 6 months I think since we were there last so it’s gonna be nice to be back! See ya there!!

Take Me Home, Home, Home, Home…
May 19th, 2010 - 4 Comments »A little reference from Marc Broussard….what an artist…so good! Anyways, we have been home for the past two weeks and it has been so refreshing. Kelly and I have been able to have such amazing quality time together, hanging out in Atlanta, going out with friends, taking our dog to the park, the list could go on. Also, myself, JR, and Christian all played at a church on Sunday that some of us attend & pastor in Atlanta. It was one of those nights that we could have gone for days (if there wasn’t a sound curfew in the city!), because the presence of God was SO intense. It is truly an incredible time to be alive. Be reminded that the love of God is awakening more people than ever across the globe. The stories you read about in the gospels are actually happening across the world today, and I encourage you to set your mind on the “unseen” or the “eternal” and join the movement of God in your community. Every day, just spend some time reading the word, listen to a podcast, get your worship on, whatever it takes, just begin to fall in love with the Creator and watch as He starts pouring himself out to the people around you wherever you go. Love you guys.

The Truth
May 10th, 2010 - 3 Comments »Where do I begin? This past weekend marked the final event of the ‘09-10 Acquire the Fire tour. I’ll be the first to publicly admit that for us, it was the best yet. We had the pleasure of traveling the country with some of the finest in the business. So to the whole team at Teen Mania, thanks for another fantastic year of friends and memories. With this end also begins the Summer (a season I have been anticipating for quite some time)! We’re also very much looking forward to some amazing camps, concerts and festivals that we will be a part of in the coming months.
In other news some of the guys and I got a chance to go out and enjoy some crab this past weekend in Baltimore. It’s amazing how a chance to just chill for a bit with guys you see and play with all the time can bring out some awesome conversation. As we were enjoying the water’s breeze we began to discuss the band; the music, the public persona, what makes us who we are, and an interesting concept came to mind. We realized that very unintentionally, we haven’t been as honest as we should be. By this I don’t mean that we have been dishonest, of course. I simply mean that we realized that we haven’t been pouring our hearts, our thoughts, our struggles, our victories, our lives out through what we do nearly to the extent and clarity that we could. Our heart and mission has always been and always will be to lead people into an encounter with the living God. I wonder how much more that can be done with unbridled authenticity.
I’m sure very little of this makes much sense to anyone and I would warn you not to read into it too much. But I would consider this blog to be the beginning of a new season in Unhindered with a much more open window into who we are as people, artists, lovers of God.

News Flash!!
April 26th, 2010 - No Comments »“Father Will You Come” goes to Radio today! We are incredibly excited about the next few months as we anticipate what God is going to do with this song. It is amazing to think that this song has potential to bless many more people than it already has! It is kind of crazy to think that a song we have been playing for years is reaching a brand new audience for the very first time! We would ask that you join us in praying that God would be glorified and people would be blessed by it.
Also, we are coming close to the end of the spring tour and preparing for the summer-run. We have already been planning out times to put the finishing touches on some new songs so we can begin to introduce them as soon as we can! Get ready!

New York
April 14th, 2010 - No Comments »This weekend is gonna be insane! Over 16,000 people filling the IZOD Arena, pursuing the heart of the Father in one of the most influential cities in the world. Hillsong United, a group that we have always looked up to, will also be leading worship on Friday night. Needless to say, we are extremely excited about what God has instore this weekend!
It has been quite a busy Spring, filled with touring, songwriting, and pollen. Yes, the pollen in Atlanta is out of control!!! Pat & I climbed Stone Mountain last week and there was a yellow haze over the entire city. Anyway, hope you all are doing well. Be praying for the heart of God to be released to the people of New York!
