Yeah I know… it’s “twenty ten” not “oh ten” but we’re just going to go with it for now… How exciting it is to start a new year. 2009 was awesome for us. With it came two marriages, our first national release, and our first radio single (among several other things of course), but needless to say, we are pumped about 2010 and what God has in store for it.
In more practical news, we just got home from Gatlinburg, TN where we rang in the new year with 19,500 of you folks and had an awesome time doing it! It was one of the few times a year that the wives and close friends get to come out and hang with us and what better city in the entire country to host them than ol’ Gatlin-vegas?? So to everyone who was there, thank you for another memorable year! What were some of the things you folks did to celebrate the new year? Any new years resolutions out there?

My New Years Rezo is to not let my Light be hindered (b/c I could not think of any other word that would fit) by what ppl think. I think Yalls son “Farewell Lullaby” Puts what I wantto do in the best way possible.
I rung in the new year… Sleeping.. No parties for me.. LOL..
My resolution is to let the past be the past look forward.. I’ve went through a lot this past year and my goal is to let God do what he wants to do.
2009 was a good year. I spent my New Year with 350 kids in our high school gym rocking out to A ROTTERDAM NOVEMBER. Every year my church sponsors a party for 6-12th graders to come and hang out. We pass out prizes and have lots of food. When we clean up in the end we never get out of there before 5 am. So no sleep for me or my friends that was staying at my house.
I have a lot of New Year’s Resolutions, but my main was is to stay close to god and I continue to go to college and I face the challenge of pressure. I pray that I can continue being a good example to all the young children that look up to me and I can continue spreading god’s word on my campus and my new friends will be able to accept him in their lives. As I made these resolutions I started to realize that I am doing what he wants me to do.
So as you guys continue going around the country playing your music and helping young believers in their walk I pray that you guys can continue being you and not get lead into temptations. I play your national wide CD all the time in my dorm room and many people have asked me who you guys are and always borrow my iPod to listen to you guys and many others. So thank you for being so awesome in helping many believers come to the lord and helping me continue in my walk with the lord.

Hey guys love the music. Anyone know if this is the “Unhindered” that sings that song that goes sort of like this… “Who is like you, faithful to all generations. All you are is…” I remember the song from like 2-3 years ago maybe more. Can anyone help me out? I like that song.

hi, i was in gatlinburg for new years with our group from new sandy creek baptist church in henderson nc. my first xtreme winter with our youth. Praying God will bless your ministry in 2010. how great it was to have you guys for praise and worship. thank you soo much i have already asked our youth minister to sing two of your songs for alter calls. hope we see you guys next year. your sister in Christ, karen short
New Years resolutions? Wow. Um…survive? Lol. Seriously, though, I see this year as a brand new start. A clean slate. A chance to forget all the mistakes and hardships of last year (’09 was particularly hard for my family and I) and to move ahead. To remember that it’s a brand new year with new opportunities to serve God. I want people to see His light in me. I pray about that all the time. I guess my goal would be to just live for Him. To let others see something different about me, and to realize (or ask and let me tell them) that it’s God in my life. I want to make a difference in their lives, just like you guys are doing. You’re a huge inspiration!
p.s. As far as parties go, it was me, my dad, and my brother watching the ball. As soon as it dropped, we went to bed. Haha.
